Walk safely to school day - Friday 15 May
This national day is run every year to encourage primary school students to walk and commute safely to school. As well as promoting physical activity and good health, this event also promotes road safety, public transport and the environment. All primary schools should have received a promotional kit in March. For further information about this event visit walk.com.au or phone
(02)9968 4555.

A kit containing WSTSD stickers and posters will be posted to every Primary School (Public, Catholic and Private) in Australia in early March 2009.

Any school that would like to showcase what their school is doing for National Walk to School Safely Day please give me a call. I would love to hear all the wonderful things that schools are doing to promote physical activity in their community.
