Your feedback is very important to us, we'd love to know what you think of the Hunter New England Resource. Please feel free to complete our online survey.

The 2005 Local Government Area amalgamations resulted in a change to a proportion of Local Government Areas in the Hunter New England region. Through merger and/or boundary change, the number of local government areas in the Hunter New England region changed from 33 to 25. These tables represent the Local Government Areas that existed prior to the 2005 amalgamation. Population estimates of the new Local Government Areas will become available with the next census.
