Hunter Storm Study 2007

The June long weekend storm in the Hunter and Central Coast regions caused the death of 10 people and led to the evacuation of over 6000 residents, while over 200 000 homes and business were affected by electricity and other essential service interruptions.

Hunter New England Population Health conducted a survey of residents to measure the impact of the storm, to assess household disaster preparedness, and to identify household information sources.
